The topic of my experiment was the manipulation of the hardening process of concrete that leads to potentially surprising impacts and results. The process involved sprinkling magnetic material into the pouring concrete, which enabled me to move, form and transform the whole material with the help of a magnet. Magnetism formed different shapes, creating three dimensional statues of magnetism. Besides the iron-filings I also used materials of different types and characteristics, for example pigment powder containing iron. Batik-concrete / Marble-concrete.
